Pale blue begins the dream.
The water slowly turns deep blue.
A red mermaid drifts through the silence —
soft, surreal, almost unreal.
Then the light changes.
The sea turns darker.
The red becomes deeper.
Mermaid becomes siren.
Beauty becomes mystery.
A red mirage beneath the changing sea.
